De Infrarood & Raman discussiegroep is bedoeld voor gebruikers van Infrarood & Raman spectroscopie op elk niveau en houd je op de hoogte - middels bijeenkomsten- over toepassingen en over instrumentele ontwikkelingen.  Zowel de universitaire als de industriële wereld is vertegenwoordigd.

• Prof. Pavel Matousek - Deep Raman Spectroscopy of Turbid Media. A new revolutionary technique capable of investigating tissue beneath patients’ skin has been recently developed through an international multi-disciplinary collaborative project at STFC. The concept, Spatially Offset Raman Spectroscopy (SORS), enables safe, non-invasive characterisation of tissue in vivo or the analysis of powder layers at depths of several millimeters.
